elephants in zoos is absolute cruelty to animals! They live in a much too small for them and often suffer from stereotyped behaviors ... (They always make the same motion ...)
And now this! The Zoo Magdeburg would now be caught wild baby elephants from Africa! The animals are torn from their families and they can expect a life of dreary monotony ... I think that's worse than if the babies are born right in the zoo (although that is also bad !!!). Elephants live in large family groups, where a zoo could never meet. The taming of the elephant is quite brutal. I think elephants have no place in zoos nothing more ....
The zoo with baby animals really make that brings so beautiful too much money in the coffers ... And if the animals are large and no longer cute, they are simply disposed of! This Topic was the last days several times by the media ... They are simply given to any pet shop, where the animals are then housed not interested, the main thing is the money flows ...
